In this regard, during an official ceremony attended by Eng. Fereydoon Forotan (Chief Executive Officer of Balkh Air Services) and Mr. Mawlawi Fatehullah Mansoor (Deputy Minister of Operations, Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation), the authority for providing ground handling services—which had previously been held by the company—was once again confirmed and reaffirmed, and the service provision contract was signed with Balkh Air Services.

This event is yet another confirmation of the trust placed by the Government and aviation authorities in the capabilities and existing standards of Balkh Air Services.

Balkh Air Services Secures Ground Handling Contract for Khost International Airport

We are thrilled to announce that Balkh Air Services, the only ground handling company in Afghanistan with IATA, ISO, and ISAGO certifications, has reached a significant milestone. We have recently signed an agreement with the Afghanistan Government to provide ground handling services at Khost International Airport.

This new contract marks an exciting expansion of our operations beyond Mazar-e-Sharif International Airport, where we have been proudly serving as the leading ground handling service provider.
